Lokesh Interacts with Students at JNTU Kakinada, Shares Vision for Youth-Driven Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education, IT, and Electronics, Nara Lokesh, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to making Andhra Pradesh a number one state across all sectors, with students playing a central role in shaping its future. Interacting with students under the “Hello Lokesh” programme at JNTU Kakinada, he said his Padayatra offered deep insights into public aspirations, especially those of youth, which are now guiding governance decisions. He highlighted that since the coalition government assumed office, nearly four lakh jobs have been created, with a strong emphasis on decentralised development, cluster-based industrial growth, and transforming students from job seekers into job creators through skills, innovation, and research.

Addressing a wide range of student questions, the Minister spoke on sustainable development, green energy, industrial investments, education reforms, and social responsibility. He stressed the importance of moral values, continuous learning, research funding by industries on the lines of CSR, and reducing children’s exposure to harmful social media through age-appropriate digital regulations. Lokesh underlined that Andhra Pradesh is building strong ecosystems in sectors such as IT, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, aqua research, and green molecules, while strengthening public education, healthcare infrastructure, and employment pathways to ensure inclusive and balanced growth across all regions of the state.
